A home system that disappears into the house instead of sitting on top of it.

Most home security setups are a pile of separate purchases: a video doorbell from one company, cameras from another, a router from whoever had a sale that week. None of it talks to the others, each has its own app, and the installer who fitted the last piece won't answer the phone for the next one.

AION designs one system for the house. Everything runs on UniFi hardware, the same ecosystem the owner describes as the Apple or Tesla of networking and security: built to work together, not just sit next to each other. One app covers the network, the cameras, and the door. The hardware is small and clean enough that it doesn't announce itself in a hallway or a ceiling.

None of this requires replacing what already works. If the doorbell runs on Alexa or the blinds are on Zigbee or Z-Wave, AION builds the network around what's already installed, often using Home Assistant as the layer that ties it together. UniFi does sell its own smart-home devices and sensors, but nobody has to switch to them to benefit from the network underneath. The change can start small too: many homes begin with just a gateway and one access point, then grow camera by camera and room by room as the budget allows.

It also happens to be some of the most private equipment available. Footage and access logs are stored locally on the home's own NVR or gateway by default, so for a typical household, none of it leaves the house unless the owner chooses to turn on cloud backup. AION doesn't install cameras from manufacturers with documented data-exfiltration concerns, so the system protecting the house isn't quietly reporting somewhere else either.

And once it's in, AION keeps it running: updates, monitoring, adjustments as the house changes. Not a one-time job that ends at handover.
