Four Systems, One Platform
Pécs

A regional waste management plant near Pécs had operated for over fifteen years with a patchwork of security measures added reactively after each incident: a break-in at the fuel depot, a near-miss at the weighbridge, a complaint about unauthorized vehicles on site after hours.
By the time management decided to address the problem properly, the site had four different camera systems from four different eras, none of which could be viewed from a single screen, and gate access still relied on a physical logbook filled out by hand at the guard post. Environmental and safety regulators required documented control over who entered hazardous processing areas, and insurers had begun asking pointed questions about after-hours site access that the plant couldn't fully answer. The operations director needed one system covering the entire site — weighbridge, depot, processing hall, and perimeter — without shutting down operations to install it. A regional engineering contractor recommended AION Networks.
AION conducted a full site survey across every zone, phased the installation around the plant's working shifts so operations were never interrupted, and consolidated four legacy camera systems into one unified platform with vehicle and gate logging at the weighbridge. Access to hazardous processing areas was restricted to certified staff only, with every entry automatically time-stamped for compliance reporting.
The operations director can now produce a complete access report for an insurer or inspector in minutes instead of reconstructing it from paper logs, and after-hours vehicle activity is fully accounted for. AION maintains the system today under a service agreement covering all site zones as the plant continues to expand its processing capacity.
