Your building gets one monthly fee, based on how many apartments it has. Not per camera, not per device, not a custom quote you have to request and wait for.
We always give you two numbers together: what the building pays, and what that works out to per apartment. The building number is what gets invoiced. The per-apartment number is the one that actually matters at the közgyűlés, because a security upgrade competing against a roof repair or a lift overhaul needs to be judged the same way those are: cost per owner, not one intimidating total.
Installation (hardware plus setup) is a separate, one-time cost, quoted after a free site survey of your specific building. The monthly fee covers what happens afterwards: keeping the system patched against known security flaws, checking that every camera and door controller is genuinely working rather than quietly dead, and having someone answerable when something isn't.
24 apartments, District XI
Say your building has 24 units. That puts you in the 11-30 apartment band, and both of the figures below are what actually land on the invoice.
Installation for a building this size (cameras at the entrances and common areas, an intercom system, access control at the main door, and the network hardware to run all of it) typically falls between 2.3 and 3.6 million Ft including VAT, or 1.8 to 2.8 million net. Where your building lands inside that range depends on what we find in person: how many entrances and stairwells need covering, and whether there's existing conduit we can reuse or whether cable has to be run from scratch through old walls. A 1960s brick building with no risers costs meaningfully more to wire than a 2010s block with accessible ducting. Your site survey gives you the actual number for your building, and we would rather show you a range we can stand behind than a single figure that quietly assumes the easy version of your building.
The first six months of service are included in that installation price. We list them on your proposal at their full value (roughly 300,000 Ft for those six months) rather than calling them free, so month seven doesn't come as a surprise. After that, the monthly fee continues at the rate your board already approved.

You shouldn't have to take our word for whether 2,079 Ft per apartment is reasonable. Your building already sends you an itemised statement every year. Compare us against it.
In Budapest, közös költség generally runs 200 to 250 Ft per square metre with water included, or 130 to 180 Ft without it where flats are sub-metered. For a two-room apartment that usually lands somewhere between 12,000 and 15,000 Ft a month. Inside that figure, your building is already paying roughly 1,300 Ft per resident for the közös képviselő, and typically 500 to 1,200 Ft per apartment into the felújítási alap if your building keeps one. Building insurance and the lift each account for something like 5 to 10 percent of the total.
Put next to those, a building-technology service at around 2,000 Ft per apartment is a real line on the statement. It is in the same range as what you already pay to have the building administered, and more than most buildings put aside each month for renovations. We would rather you see exactly where it sits and decide it's worth it than work it out for yourself after the vote.

Every price on this page includes 27% VAT, and the per-apartment figures do too. That is deliberate. Your building cannot reclaim the VAT, so the gross number is the only one it can budget against, and a page that asks you to check our figure against your own közös költség statement shouldn't then make you do the VAT arithmetic yourself. The net column is there for your accountant.
The per-apartment cost drops as your building gets bigger. Checking one larger system doesn't take proportionally more of our time than checking a smaller one, and we pass that saving down to you rather than pricing every apartment the same regardless of building size.
What's included at every level
Every building gets the same core service, regardless of size. Once a year, someone from AION actually visits your building rather than just checking it remotely. Alerts go straight to your phone over WhatsApp, Telegram, or our own app, with a camera snapshot attached, so you see what triggered it as it happens instead of waiting for a phone call after the fact. Each month you also get a report on your building's systems, covering device health, camera connectivity, and access activity, so the service stays visible instead of fading into the background until something breaks.
And the hardware is yours. From the day it's installed, the cameras, the access controllers, and the network equipment belong to your building, not to AION. We manage it under your monthly service, but we don't need to own it to do that.
One thing we deliberately don't do: watch your footage. Recordings stay on the recorder in your building and never travel to us. Our job is keeping the system patched, secure, and working, which we can do without ever opening a video file. Where the system uses AI to work out whether something is worth alerting anyone about, that runs on hardware inside your building too, so the image is examined where it was captured and nowhere else.
AI alerts
Want your cameras to tell the difference between a resident's car and a stranger loitering by the entrance? That's an optional add-on, on top of your base plan.
You pick which cameras get it. Some buildings want it on every entrance, some want it nowhere, and charging per camera means you only pay for the ones where it earns its keep. It stays out of the base fee for the same reason: tuning what counts as worth waking someone up for is real work, and it varies building by building.
The analysis runs on hardware inside your building. So a camera can work out that the thing moving in the courtyard at 3am was a cat, and then tell nobody about it. Fewer alerts also means fewer occasions when any person looks at your footage at all.
One vote, not two
Every board we work with has the same worry: get talked into a service, then face an uncomfortable second vote once the "free" period ends. We build the approval the other way around.
Your közgyűlés votes once, on the whole picture: the installation, the six included months (valued honestly, not disguised as a freebie), and the ongoing monthly rate that continues afterward. Nothing changes without your board deciding it up front, so there's no renewal surprise sprung on a building that's already forgotten the system is a line item.
When we're not the right choice
We're not the cheapest way to get cameras onto a building, and we're not trying to be. If what your building wants is a few cameras installed for the lowest possible price, with nobody responsible for them afterwards, there are plenty of companies who will do exactly that. It's a legitimate thing to want and we'd rather tell you now than after a site survey.
We also don't send a guard. If your building's real priority is a person arriving on site within minutes of an alarm, that's a different service with a different cost structure behind it, and you should buy it from a company built around doing that.
What we do is run your building's technology as an ongoing service: designed properly, installed once, then actually managed by someone who notices a camera has gone offline before you do.
Frequently asked questions
- What happens if something breaks?
We respond remotely the same day. If someone needs to come out in person, that's the next business day. We're a small, hands-on team right now, and we'd rather promise a response time we can actually keep than a number that sounds better and isn't real.
- What are we committing to after the first six months?
The service continues on a 12-month rolling basis, renewing automatically. You can cancel with 60-90 days' notice. There's no multi-year lock-in.
- If we cancel, do we lose access to our own system?
No. You already own the hardware outright, from day one. If you cancel, we hand back full administrator access within 14 days. Footage stays on your own on-site recorder throughout, since it never left the building, so there's nothing to transfer on that front.
- Do you charge per camera, like a lot of monitoring companies do?
No. Your fee is based on your building's apartment count, not its device count, so adding a camera where you need one doesn't mean renegotiating your bill.
- We found a company advertising társasház monitoring for 8,778 Ft a month. Why are you nearly six times that?
Because that price buys a phone call. It covers telephone notification on an alarm system your building already owns and already looks after itself, and maintenance on that system is billed separately per visit: the same company's published rate for servicing a panel with up to 20 sensors is 29,210 Ft a call.
Our fee covers the equipment being kept patched and checked, the access control, the network all of it runs on, and one on-site visit a year whether anything is wrong or not. Those are two different products wearing the same word. If telephone notification on a system your building maintains itself is what you actually need, that is the cheaper answer and you should take it.
- Why will you publish prices when almost nobody else does?
Because we can. Companies built around sending a guard to your building have a cost that changes with every callout, so their quotes genuinely have to be individual. Our costs are hardware at a price you can look up yourself, plus the work of designing and running the system. That's a number we can put on a page.
